A sure cure for those winter blues and a healthy alternative to a night in with netflix or a night out partying. The WOW ride may just remind you why you started riding bikes in the first place. A social ride with a heavy dose of laughter and high fives offering something new each week. At the top of Library Hill we were rewarded with a soft and colorful surprise in the form of an interactive Yarn Bombing retrospective. After a healthy dose of yarn and photos we rolled back down the hill to Sprinkles at the Americana for treats and a the waterfall show. Photos from Josie, Ana, Aish, Susie and Caroline
If you want to check out the art yourself, maybe on bikes with a group of friends, the show will be on view till February 5th at the Brand Library Art Center http://www.glendaleca.gov/government/departments/library-arts-culture/brand-library-art-center/loops-groups Our route: http://ridewithgps.com/routes/11882453 The WOW ride meets every Thursday night @ Sunset Triangle/Morning Nights Cafe. 7:30 PM Meet Up/8:00 PM Roll. The ride explores new safe routes in LA at a social pace. We work on speed, strength, group riding skills and smiles. Will stop for treats and photo ops. This is a non-drop beginner-friendly ride for W/T/F riders. Make sure to join our facebook group for weekly ride invites https://www.facebook.com/groups/shewolfattackteam/ One of our highlights of 2015 was getting some major hang time with KOOCHELLA! They came to LA to play for a few days and an explosion of rad women united . We met these bad-asses at Interbike in 2014 and immediately bonded. They've been doing great things in MPLS and inspire riders world wide. Koochella was recently named Track Club of the Year by USAC
