Meet the Team!
Laila (she/her)
Laila is a Persian-Mexican user experience designer, certified bicycle safety instructor, and dedicated proponent of using bikes for good. She began riding bikes to commute a decade ago, and started bikepacking with WWCC in 2021. As an advocate for cycling-friendly infrastructure, she participates in local and national cycling associations, aiming to promote sustainable transportation and safe cycling practices. She looks forward to actively supporting Wild Wolf’s mission and having more coffee outside rides with friends. |
Vic (she/her)
Vic is a british-chinese-malay film editor in LA. Riding bikes for fun, commuting and traveling globally has always been a part of her life, but since the pandemic, she has realized the importance of biking for self care. A storyteller at heart, she puts her creative energy into carving out space for narratives we don’t usually see in the mainstream. |
Matty (they/them)
Matty was born and raised in East LA. Discovering the biking community in 2013 during high school, they continued to ride throughout the years with many groups, as well as organizing some rad races. Track bikes slowly turned to gravel bikes, and rides into camping adventures. When Matty isn’t busy working at RoadRunner bags, they love to document the bike community through their photography. |
Liz (she/her)
Liz is a proud Chingona, born and raised in Echo Park. She started biking around 8 years ago after seeing group rides in the neighborhood and quickly figured out how to join. The gateway drug of party rides led to road and then dirt touring. Liz loves challenging herself and discovering new places by bike with friends. Never not smiling on the bike, Liz is the queen of the party pannier club. |
Diana (she/her)
Diana is a public school educator, proud latinx small business owner, and a founding member of WWCC. She began racing with SWAT back in 2015 and is captain of our WWCC Cyclocross Team. When she’s not riding or in the classroom you can find her working on bags for her small business Cat on a Bike Bags or helping her partner at their bike shop in Pomona, The Local Bikestand. |
Susie (she/they)
Susie is a designer, artist and advocate originally from the North West. They have been organizing in the LA bike scene for the past 10+ years with a focus on building community centered on FTWNB riders. As a long time commuter she uses the bicycle not only for transportation, but as a tool for climate action, meditation, and connecting with friends & nature. Susie loves “picnic-packing”, route building, and spreading the stoke for camping by bike. |
